I love all things OXO, but this has got to be one of my favorites!
I have long had spoon rests near my stove, but have been frustrated when I had a pot lid I needed to put down to stir or check something. There was a lot of steam and/or gunk on the underside which would drip onto whichever surface I laid it down on. And if I inverted the lid so the leaks wouldn't happen, then picking it back up to put back on the pot was awkward as the handle was then underneath and hot. Enter a 2-in-1 beauty which is easy to clean and folds flat.
It may not be sexy. but anyone who cooks that doesn't already have this, needs this.
