This is officially a batter bowl.  And it works well as one.  But I use it for so many other things, too!  When I need to drain something but keep the liquid, this is my go-to.  When I need to beat a bunch of eggs and pour them into a batter or pan, this is my go-to.  It stays in place, is light, the handle is excellent, and the sides are high enough to use a hand blender and not spray the kitchen!
